Growing Up Fast

Playing alongside WNBA legends has accelerated Maya's development.

"I'm learning something new every single day," she says. "It's like getting a master's degree in basketball."

Off the Court

Maya is also using her platform to advocate for equal pay and better working conditions for WNBA players.

"We deserve more," Maya says firmly. "And I'm not going to be quiet about it."

Rookie of the Year?

With her performance so far, Maya is a front-runner for Rookie of the Year honors.

"Individual awards are cool," Maya says. "But I'm here to win championships."
